Cataract Surgery

Cataract phacoemulsification with implantation of modern intraocular lenses.

Phacoemulsification is the "gold standard" of cataract surgery. Through a 2.2mm micro-incision, the cloudy lens is destroyed by ultrasound and removed, and an artificial intraocular lens (IOL) is implanted in its place. Our center offers monofocal, toric, aspheric, and multifocal lenses from Alcon, Medicontur, and other manufacturers.

Advantages

2.2mm micro-incision
Wide IOL selection
